In my case, I have been with my girlfriend for 8 years. I have made many friends that are female, but none of them were true friends. Everytime the relationship from female acquaintance to a close friend that was a female began to form, a tension always began to develop. A tension that just should not be between two friends. Sexual tension, I don't know. I just know that I can't keep those types of relationships while staying true to my girlfriend.
