His dad still lives there. We're supposed to go out to Iowa next summer and see him. I am not really looking forward to going to Iowa. From what I can tell it looks very -- uh -- boring? Dull? Anyway, I just don't think I'd like it there. Brad (my husband) says he will never live there again. My father-in-law, Wally, loves tractor pullin'. I have no idea what the hell that is, but that is what he does for fun. What is there to do in Iowa? Is it really hot there in the summer? I think I remember Brad saying that it was. Ugh, I am not looking forward to next summer. |
advice, wait till dark and make a break for it....save yourself....run and hide now!!!! |
Where are you moving to? California? |
Back to LA.....GOD'S LAND |
At least you'll be back in California. Anything's got to be better than Iowa. Cool, you'll get to hang with Waffles and shit like that. Sounds like fun. I'm moving to Sacramento in about a week or so... I'm not sure what I'm gonna think about it b/c I've lived in the Bay Area all my life. Nothing but moderate temps for me. I'd better get to likin' the heat 'cause it's supposed to get really hot up there. And really cold during the winter. The place we're moving into has a fireplace though. I hope the cat doesn't get into it... Anyway, congrats on getting out of there this spring. |
p.s. we do have lightening bugs here, but no blow fairies :o( (waffles can explain) |

God forsake those who venture into Iowa! Don't even travel thru there. Let ye be warned. I did go to the stock car races and lived at one bar. Iowa has a nasty mojo that sucks you in and lebotomizes you. Be afraid, be very afraid... |
By the way where does the Pink Eye live now? |
Some states are so frightening you don't want to even think about them. Anyway, I have a good friend who lives in Iowa City and she likes it. Of course, there's a good music scene there, so that means there's always something going on. I can imagine small town Iowa is about as bad as small town Wisconsin. |

Like it or not, location means the world! So why not SHLEP on down to The City That Never Sleeps!? eh NYC (primarily Manhattan) has it all: hub of culture, finance, fashion, retail, trade, cuisine, theatre, arts, media, communications, real estate, music, etc. That's precisely why NYC IS the most expensive city to live in! You pay for your locale! You pay to be in the center of the universe - where every amenity, every vice is at your disposal!! Times Square (crossroads of the world) recently ranked #3 as one the Top 10 Places America Goes To Have Fun. Whether Jew or Gentile, NYC is the Greatest Show On Earth! eh -D, NYC "I did 'Bash' here two years ago, 'Three Sisters' five years ago and hope to do another play soon. That's because my secret agenda is to be back in New York. In L.A., I have a house and yard and it's good for my baby. I have parents in Tennessee but I don't want to live there. I have friends in California but it's so transient there. I'd really love to relocate in New York because it has everything." - CALISTA FLOCKHART http://www.archives.nysed.gov/a/researchroom/rr_pgc_jewish_essay.shtml (New York Jewish History) http://www.fact-index.com/n/ne/new_york__new_york.html (New York, New York - History of NY - "Capital of The World") http://www.nycvisit.com/content/index.cfm?pagePkey=57 (NY & COMPANY - NYC Statistics & Fun Facts) http://www.nyc.gov/html/om/html/2004a/pr126-04.html (NYC - safest, largest city in the US - 2004) http://www.homestore.com/homefinance/mortgages/mostleastexpensive.asp (Most Expensive Cities To Live In - NYC tops list) http://www.forbes.com (Most Expensive Homes In America - 3 of top 5 homes from NY) http://www.guinessworldrecords.com/index.asp?id=49870 (Science & Technology - Buildings - Largest Synagogue in the world - Temple Emanu-El, NYC) http://www.state.ny.us/governor/press/year02/oct13_2_02.htm (NY Kosher facts & figures, Brach's - World's Largest Kosher Supermarket) http://chareidi.shemayisrael.com/SCS64rrichjew.htm (US study - Jews richer because of religion) http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/articles/A18130-2002May27.html (A Study In Differences - Are Jews smarter?) http://www.jewishvirtuallibrary.org/jsource/US-Israel/usjewpop.html (Jewish Population of the US by State) http://www.jewishvirtuallibrary.org/jsource/Judaism/jewpop.html (Jewish Population of the World) http://home.comcast.net/~neoeugenics/poj.htm (The Phenomenon Of The Jews) http://www.lagriffedulion.f2s.com/dialogue.htm (Jews, IQ & Nobel Laureates) http://www.us-israel.org/jsource/Economy/telaviv.html (Tel Aviv - Top 10 High-Tech Cities In the World - Newsweek) http://www.eonline.com/Features/Specials/Jews (Do Jews run Hollywood?
