    He is the most amazing person I've ever met: kind, considerate, mule-headed, sweet, hilarious, intelligent, teasing and so wonderfully _interesting_. I just can't get over how awesome I feel when I'm with him, or thinking about him, or, even when I'm not consciously but at some level I just know he's there. I've never felt this connected to anyone, like I can be funny or stupid or daring or boring and it's okay.

    In October, it'll be two years. Is it normal to want to call to say good night just to hear his voice? The best part is that he's my best friend. I tell him I'm afraid of spiders and things that sting, that I love the first gulp of pop more than any other taste, that I watch those horrible Lifetime movies once in a while and even cry at them sometimes.

    I don't know why I'm posting this. I guess I just want to know if any of you have ever felt this way...

    Oh, geez. I married my best friend. All of those feelings were there when we started dating. Some of them are still there now, about 8 years later. Just enjoy things and be yourself. It's all good.
