    Massive storm yesterday - worst in 25 years.

    The marina just fell to pieces, half the boats sank, the rest are so badly damaged they might as well have.

    Trees and fences have fallen down all over the place. Mudslides and slips in the hilly places, flooding in the flat places.

    But the sun shone this afternoon, and we will dry off and talk about it for years to come - 2000 - the year of the "big storm".

    Like 1992 - the year of the "big snow". That was actually pretty cool, cos they closed the city and told everyone not to go to work. We made snow people and walked around and fell over in the snow.

    I want it to snow again. (but not till next winter!)
