I'm looking out of my office window and
there are trees everywhere. Mostly pine
trees but many oaks are also present.
We are close enough to the New Smog Capital
to benefit from the carbon dioxide but
rain has been sparse this year. Where
    am I?

By N.b. on Wednesday, October 25, 2000 - 12:16 am:

By N.b. on Wednesday, October 25, 2000 - 12:18 am:

    needville, texas.

i think it's a crime that that hasn't become the name of a sitcom yet.

Sarah's post reminded me of a great one...

In Minnesota, we have cities named Fertile and Climax that are a short distance rom each other. The best newspaper headline in state history involved the two towns.

    "Fertile woman dies in Climax"

    I am not even kidding.
