    i'm reading this one now.

i don't know what to think of it. sometimes i can't stop reading and time flies by. sometimes it is boring and repetative. i can't figure out the difference, my mood maybe?

the book makes me anxious. and it makes me feel weak. and thankful.

and it makes me want another sorabji book club to happen so i can pick my next book. i was thinking i'd read 'perfume', because someone told me to read it a long time ago. Patrick Suskind.

i just read 'midnight in the garden of good and evil' and found it to be way overrated.

I've read "Perfume" -- it's very good. It stays with you a while after you've finished it.

Tonight I picked up Graham Greene's "Brighton Rock" at the library. This will be my fifth Greene novel...I think he has become one of my favorite writers.

i don't remember getting that much from perfume...except it was a lot easier to read than the other things required for the course i took on sensuality and architecture

my memory rather sucks...i should just stop trying to use my brain

i went to the library today too! for the first time...ah, libraries.

I really loved "midnight...", however I must say i saw the movie first and liked it, then read the book and liked it more than the movie... so since I have that 'upward climb' I think that affects my judgment.

I've read 'perfume' and its really good. And I'm way more of a non-fiction reader than fiction, so its hard for me to really recommend a fiction book, but perfume would be one of them.

'perfume' made me want to learn german just so i could see if the original text is as witty and hillarious as the translation.

it is good nate, and there's a lot of detailed descriptions of virginal girls and their smells, which i think you might enjoy.
