So last night this band played at the local all ages club. They are on Trustkill Records and based out of Detroit. A female fronted hardcore band that was tight as all hell.
It was a crazy show. Almost 200 people from ages 10-50 moshing and going the fuck off.
The sound was great. Clear and loud but mixed very well for such a loud show.
These guys blew my mind. I talked to their lead singer Candece and the guitar player Mike after the show.
They were blown away by the crowd. And they are telling Trustkill to start sending bands up here to Houghton, MI, a little po-dunk town in the top of the state.
This woman rocked harder than any other woman I've ever seen in concert, hands fucking down.
She blew apart the idea that chicks can't really ROCK (which was the subject of a heated debate on here awhile ago) within the first 10 fucking seconds of starting the set. Bobbing, throwing one handed punches, riling up the crowd, screaming more scary than Phil from Pantera.
At one point she dedicated a song to all the rape survivors in the room in a show of support.
    Just amazing, amazing.
I've downloaded some recordings from them and can't wait to get the records.
Great show. The supporting band from Milwakee was also great. They are Cause for Revelation, a more typical hardcore male fronted band, a lot like Hatebreed but without the hooky choruses.
    Awesome show!

That show was a lot of fun and Walls kicked ass. Can't wait to come back.
