I generally like Mike Judge's cartoons, Beavis and Butthead and King of the Hill have spawned many a laugh. He didn't get the best review for this film, but it's pretty damn funny. He is satirical where he needs to be, although, if you work in an office or for a corporation, his humor was like shooting fish in a barrel. Eitherway aside from the ever annoying Jennifer Anniston, it's a hoot!

See this, it's worth the hiring :->

    nate have you seen this?

if not, see it. I thought of you watching it a second time last week. the main characters are software slaves.........has any one else seen it? The best scene is when they take the printer out in the corn field, and "kill it" ala goodfellas. "PC Load Letter!!!!!!! wHAT THE FUCK DOES THAT MEAN!!!!!"

By Nate on Wednesday, February 2, 2000 - 04:47 pm:

    hell yeah i've seen it.

actually, i insisted it be our group outing.

after that, productivity declined sharply. and it's true... i can't be fired.

    Look, here's Patrick's thread!

I lend that movie out a lot.
It shows me why i don't work in an office anymore, and hope to never do so again.

"Somebody's got a case of the mondays!"

If you can stand it, Hottopic.com sells Office Space merch now, including Initech t-shirt and coffee mugs.

actually, that's kindofa great gift idea.

By Spider on Tuesday, July 6, 2004 - 11:18 am:

Wisper, can you look on the site and give me a link to the page where they sell them? I looked around and couldn't find any Office Space stuff.

By wisper on Tuesday, July 6, 2004 - 05:03 pm:

On their front page, there's 10 icons on the right for their featured products. (family guy!)
Anyway, right now Office Space is on the top right, beside Lord of the Rings and above Punisher. It's Melvin looking out from behind the Post-It-Note covered guy on the cover.

here's a link, but they change their site so much, it's rather unstable. They seem to be out of the coffee mugs, but still have Initech hats and shirts.

I like the disaffected youth in this picture.

But, man, I'd only want a mug. Like Lumbergh's.

    that kicks ass, tbone.

By TBone on Wednesday, July 7, 2004 - 02:04 pm:

Fortunately it's not quite as soul-crushing as Initech.

I took the quiz on that site (100 questions, I'm so pathetic)...anyway, so the writer was so nitpicky as to ask what was on the license plate of the car Peter was stuck behind in the first scene, but he couldn't get Peter's girlfriend's name right (duh!), nor did he get the bank balance right, nor could he spell strychnine. Dumbass.
