1. Jeeps/SUVs/& MiniVans. Let's just ban them all now/shall we? And bring back the ORIGINAL VW BEETLE w/the engine in the back & 22 miles to the gallon/which everyone loved. Better yet -- release an electric VW Beetle! TYhen I can drive to Cali on $10.00 a day & see Nate's new 15-acre spread. 2. Tequiza/Malt Liquor/Wine Coolers & all those other waste products of American liquor manufacturing that they try to pass off on People of Color as imbibables. If it ain't good enuf for Whitefolks to drink/then don't market it to ANYBODY! 3. Bell bottoms. They were ugly in the 70's (trust me -- I was there) & they're still ugly. To paraphrase YSL: "Those who do not learn from the mistakes of fashion history are destined to repeat it. 4. Ricky Martin. Yeah, he's cute & he works his bon-bon hard for the money. But up until 1999/he'd been trying to get famous for 10 years. I say his is 15 min. are about up. 5. Boy Bands. The Back Street Boys/98 Degrees/any groups of 4 or 5 20-something White males w/no previous musical training/who were chosen for their looks & ability to learn simple dance routines within 72 hrs. Whoever the manager is that keeps fabricating these Boy Bands/TERMINATE HIS ASS! Resurrect Isaac Hayes in his place. He was the first Black person to win an Oscar for Best Film Score. That alone shd earn him an encore on Earth. 6. AIDS. Why can't they just find a cure or a vaccine or SOMETHING & make AIDS go the way of Polio? Haven't we thrown enuf $$ at the problem over the last 15 years? Or are the medical researchers & drug manufacturers making too much $$ off the Triple-drug cocktail to be willing to explore other alternatives? Just a thought... 7. Rudy Guliani. He is a lousy, racist mayor whose tenure saw not 1 but 2 of the worst police crimes committed against Black people in NY in the last 50 years. And now/he gets the lion's share of the credit for pulling off the NYC Millennium Celebration without a hitch/or a bombing/or a power outage/anyone even puking in the middle of Times Square. I say throw him in Rikers for 3 weeks & if he's still alive after that/deport him! 8. The Housing Market in NYC. Becuz I'm seriously thinking of moving back. But with every closet & corner in any roach-infested rat-trap renting for $900-$1000 a month/I know I can't afford it. Even w/a good job transfer package. 9. Parking tickets. Because the streets belong to the taxpayers & parking spaces shd be First Come, First Served. Anyone with a copy of their W-2 shd be able to park anywhere in America for 10 consecutive hours, DAMMIT! 10. The Prohibition of Smoking in Public Places. Becaue the tax $$ we smokers contribute to this economy pays for all sorts of shit we don't utilize. Becuz the law suits against the tobacco manufacturers are a joke/when they simply raise the price per pack to offset the damages they have to pay to Medicare & Medicaid & your Uncle Lou's widow & every other fucking thing. Becuz Frank Sinatra said it best: "You die your way & I'll die mine." |

I'm rambling because I have nothing I want to do. I'm down/blue. I'm thinking of setting up my own dictatorship. I think then I will have six sex slaves. Why not? I would after all be the total dictator. Able to decide who lives or dies. With complete and total control of everyone's lives. Oh, the utter despair. Maybe I should just go to bed and sleep most of tomorrow away. |
