yesterday, i went outside around 6, and laid down on the hood of the car and looked at the sky.

    Nifty clouds.

Then, as one moved on, a star appeared.

    The first one that night.

I did the dorky little wish thing on it...

Hopefully it'll come true, although past experience should have told me already to forget it.

    I hate school.

My latin teacher is cool. funny.

and appearantly, gay, which is quite a topic of ridiclue about him.

    oh well.

better than some crazy old lady that froze her dead kittens in paper towels in her freezer, with food in it.

My physics teacher has a neat-o accent.

Nair is $5.99 too expensive for my current monetary means.

    he's russian.

I'm too big a wuss to try to talk to this really beautiful girl that i have had a crush on since i was in 5th grade...even though she's appearantly a bit of an outcast...well, at least i do hold the door for her and all on the very rare occasion that i do see her in school.

    my locker doesn't work.

Actually, now that I think about it, that star was probably venus, either venus or the north star because i checked on it later...and it hadnt moved.

i keep on getting that burning urge to go out someplace open and far and wild with someone beautiful and deep and all and watch stars.

    I'm babbling.

    I HATE SONS AND LOVERS.

    yeah.

    ok.

    enough of that.

i like to look up on a cloudy day and just watch.

they move so quickly, dissapating and forming new patterns.

and they're not just white. a bit patchy, mixed with gray here and there some blue sky.

    a dreampool.

sometimes i feel as if i'm leaving my dreams behind in the dark, only to find them again later, untouched and silent.

WHY LOOK UP WHEN YOU CAN LOOK DOWN? AND SUCK!

By semillama on Saturday, September 9, 2000 - 03:55 pm:

if it doesn't move, it's the north star.

or an alien deathship in geosynchronous orbit.

By Zephyr on Sunday, September 10, 2000 - 12:21 pm:

    uh-oh...

yeah. it's the north star. same place every night.

I went walking around in the woods yesterday...found lots of neat stuff. and a big clearing i could easily put a couple of tents in. Planned on doing some more exploring last night (way late, that is), just a fun night-hike, but i was tired.

I took a bunch of photos, saw all kinds of neat stuff. It was seriously fun.

    Nighttime is always really pretty.

when i was camping near fossil, the sky was AMAZING.

no other word for it. i saw all sorts of stars i've never seen before. watercolor stars. watermelon stars.

next summer i'm thinking of working as a camp counselor. certainly won't be spending all my money on shoes.

By Isolde on Monday, September 11, 2000 - 07:39 am:

I miss the sky in Caspar. The sky here is obscured by more light than at home and it makes me sad. I look up and get frustrated.

By Morlock on Monday, September 11, 2000 - 05:09 pm:

sky. yum. went to the beach; caught the ass-end of the meteor shower. Every once in a while, we'll get the really good ones; ribbons of white light with reds and blues at the edges, brighter than the moon, just for a second.

Those make up for lots of things.
