    So today was Hayley's 9th birthday.....she says to me that she is almost a teenager, and I tell her not to age me that much yet.

    She has outgrown the 16" bike that my grandmother got her two years ago, so for her birthday this year we got her a 20" bike. We were planning on getting Micki a 12" bike, since her 9" is too small now.

    My neighbor looks at Micki and says she needs a 9" bike, and I told him she already had it and it was too small. So later in the evening, Micki decided to play on Hayley's 16" bike, and get this.....the little monkey just needs the seat dropped down a tiny bit, and can ride it. UGH.

    I wasn't ready for Micki to be that big.

    And to top it off, when it was time for cake and ice cream, the teenage boys in the area came over and sang Happy Birthday to Hayley. Though I wonder how much of it was for the free cake.

    I hope so. It was still funny watching these 12 and 13 year old boys clamoring in the house to sing to Hayley.
