Today on Degrassi Jr. High Snake asked Melanie if she wanted to go see a concert with him but he only had enough money for one ticket so she would have to buy her own ticket but that was okay with her so she told him she'd bring the money for him and she went and asked her mother if she could borrow 20 bucks from her and pay her back after her babysitting job but her mother said no and since none of Melanie's friends would loan her the 20 bucks she "borrowed" the 20 bucks from her mother's wallet and told herself she'd pay it back after her babysitting job but then her job fell through and since her mother was really upset because she couldn't find her missing 20 bucks, Melanie confessed that she took the money and her mother grounded her so when she went to school the next day she told Snake she couldn't go cuz she was grounded and Snake gave her her ticket because she'd bought it anyway and Spike and Liz were walking by and Spike said "My mom finally said she'd give me the 20 bucks And watch Emma, but now the concert's sold out" and Melanie said "Hey Spike, wanna buy a ticket?" and Spike smiled and Melanie said "20 bucks."
whew.
It's not my favorite episode, but it's probably the one I know best. I won't bother with the sub-plot, though.
