I must confess that I was absolutely green with envy when Sem reported that there was a bat in his home the other morning. What I wouldn't have given to have such an oppertunity! I have always wanted a pet bat. There are some bats across the street from where I work. I can hear them sending out their little sonar beeps, as they search for insects. I have been wracking my brain, trying to figure out how to catch one. I would carry him in my bosom. I would love to see the looks on peoples faces when he pokes his little bat/rat face out, and peeps at the check-out lady at the store. I would probably take him to bat day at Disneyland. But I would not buy an extra ticket for him. That would be ludicrous. I would sneak him in. |
