Wait -- rewind. What is/are Fleents Stopples? Spam was always one of my favorite product names. Before it became a Net-realted verb. That & Tampax. Just becuz it eventually became synonymous w/any brand of internal feminine hygiene product. Talk abt name recognition! But I always thought they shd have spelled it Tampex/since that is the general pronunciation. (But perhaps that was TMI for some folks.) And I like Ramen. You can walk into any bodega or supermarket practically anywhere on the planet & ask for Ramen & everyone knows what you want. But it cd just as well have been the title of an obscure Japanese masturbation cult. Yknow?

Ramen are dried Japanese noodles. They come in little square pkgs. along w/a small foil pkt. of seasonings. You just boil up cup of water on the stove/toss in the noodles & seasonings/take them off the heat & still for abt a minute. And voila! -- instant soup. Altho' I usually drain off the water once the noodles get soft/then add the seasoning mix/some chili sauce/teriyaki sauce/& a splash of sesame oil. Or you can chop up some veggies & leftover whatever's-on- hand & make a reasonably tasty meal. You can buy 4 or 5 pks. of Ramen for $1.00 US. It's great poverty food. I practically lived off them when I lived in Queens.

i wonder if i was that dave up thar. the fleents stopples remark sounds like one of my fake facts and i have enjoyed and recommended adding rice to ramen. but i have no recollection of that post.
