Is it about sex? Is it something that needs advice? Is it words? Something like that. Anyhow, when I was a messenger I tried to get to know all the bike messengers a bit better. I knew a few from here and there and the car messengers can't relate well to someone working on foot. Made some friends, peoplewatched and developed a crush or two. Back in highschool when I was freaking out about what other people saw, one of those things was inviting friends over because I thought that having anyone over might establish my highschool sexual preference identity. Weird kid. I've identified as straight since I've figured out it didn't matter so much. But when I was a messenger I ran into a bike messenger a lot. This person was cute and nice and played music and happens to be neither entirely male nor female in public. How do I relate to this person? As a person is the obvious short answer. But what about pronouns? he she it they. None of that matters so much as hanging around rad people, to tell the truth. |
