    Im wanting to give Nico tickets to the Coachella music festival in May.

    Its two days. A day pass is $75. Limited 2-Day passes are $140. I can only afford 2 One-Day passes.

    The question is, which day do i chose.

    Its pretty fucking solid either day, but Im thinking Saturday would be best. Stereolab, Pixies and Radiohead being the biggies that day.

    But then again, Sunday has The Cure and the Flaming Lips, both of which athe wife is very fond of.


    Im thinking Sat. What do you think?

    I've decided to give her the option. Im made a 'certificate' listing the info. Tickets go on sale tomorrow, so she can choose tonight.

    Yeah, Im thinking Saturday too, but sappy teen nostalgia may lean her towards Sunday and The Cure even if Robert Smith is fat and ugly now.

    Oh....oh boy.....Well, the Cure has a new "heavy" record coming out. But the Pixies and Radiohead, Wilco, Electic 6, Death Cab for Cutie versus Air, Cusive, LE TIGRE and Crystal Method.
    I don't know, seems pretty even. I'd go Sat, just to see the Pixies.

    Radiohead, Pixies, Wilco, (I)NC, Sparta, Rapture, Stereolab, Trail of Dead, Death Cab, Junior Senior, Cure, Flaming Lips, Air, B&S, Bright Eyes, Atmosphere, Dizzee Rascal (make sure to check him out dood), Broken Social Scene, !!!, Pretty Girls Make Graves

    and theres others I'd still like to see...

    I guess I vote Sunday. Radiohead and Pixies are fine, but for me personally all the bands that I've really been into (mainly because I just got their CDs) lately are on Sunday. Dizzee, BSS, !!!, Air....

    It's close. If I had to choose, I'd say Sunday. I'd rather see Radiohead and the Pixies than the Cure (Pixies inspired teenage nostalgia is much preferred to those feelings evoked by the cure) but for all the other bands, I say Sunday. Though there are some great bands playing Saturday too.


    Speaking of shows my brother left the cutest* message on my voice mail the other night about Mike Patton and Rahzel's show coming up next week at the Echo Lounge informing me that I had to go, because he can't.


    *everything my brother does is adorable, even though he's 23.
