sorabji.com: The Payphone Project: THIS IS HOW TO FIND THE PAYPHONE TO GO WITH THE PAYPHONE#!!!!
THIS IS A READ-ONLY ARCHIVE FROM THE SORABJI.COM MESSAGE BOARDS (1995-2016).

By Skeeter on Sunday, May 7, 2000 - 07:13 pm:

After surfing for hours I found the way... Okay, it's only for those of us who REALLY need to trace the location of the payphone. I say this because it's gonna cost $49.00! It's a legit sevice for those of us who are more than just curious... Nope, it's not my website--I'd give you this kind of "public info" for free. To get there from here go to "docusearch.com" It's for real and really works. Stalkers be warned--now we can track you!!! hahaha!

    Jennifer check it out.

By JboxR on Tuesday, May 16, 2000 - 01:07 pm:

Well, it seems that the folks at docusearch.com
are refering to *something* (a list or database)
that has the information you are paying for.

Simple logic says that one could get their hands
    on this information.

On second thought, how about if Skeeter sends a
list of all the payphones to the folks at
docusearch.com and pays them $49.00 for each
number, and then we can all get the information
    for free on Skeeter's website???

Stalkers be warned??? Damn, why do you think I'm
learning all this payphone/boxing bit? **I** AM a
    stalker!!

Who are you stalking and why?

By JboxR on Wednesday, May 24, 2000 - 11:06 am:

You, of course!! Geez, if I TOLD you who I was
stalking that would be no fun...

Wait a second, actually, come to think of it,
there is no better format for one to talk about
something like that than a message board like this
    one.

Don't get me wrong, I certainly wouldn't admit to
anything specifically. What with my IP address -
fingerprints all over the message board, no
thanks. Then again, I haven't done anything so
serious as to warrant a warrant (sorry 'bout the
pun) to fess out my identity from Mr. I-don't-
    phreak-anymore-Sorabji, but ANYWAY... I think it's
a good platform for a few bragging stories.

So who am I stalking? No one, everyone. I once
met a girl via email, got info about her, actually
went to her house. (I knew her last name and
walking time from her nearest train station and !
presto! - her house) Anyway, I took a photo of an
easily recognizable rock garden (Japanese thing)
and sent it to her explaining that I had recently
been to her town on business and had gotten lost
and took a picture of this lovely garden. (I just
HAPPENED to have my digital camera with me at the
    time)

Anyway, she was amazed, figured it for fate and we
met within a week. Well, I've never had more fun
on a first date! (laugh) I used to think I'd
need a Buick for those things, but we made do in a
little Japanese compact! I thought I was going to
lose my tongue. Damn! She must have

Private detectives are nothing new. For $50 they might be able to get you a payphone number location. Most of the time they can't. Big deal.

By Shecky on Friday, December 29, 2000 - 02:36 pm:

Yeah, but can they find the best burgers in Brooklyn?

By Ex on Monday, November 5, 2001 - 01:36 am:

Dont use this service. It is a scam by the federal government to track potential hackers. Registration targets you immediately and opens up a file euphemistically called; potential recruits.

yeah, potential recruits to the pen.!

Dont bother with this kind of stuff, keep it strictly legit.
