I have used it and i worked. 1. turn phone off 2. put a different net work sim in phone 3. turn phone back on, should say "wrong card" 4. type in *#9998*3323# into the phone 5. if done correctly the screen should give you a message displaying exit. push the right soft key to exit. 6. now you should see a menu of choices. scroll down and select 7 " jump to null " phone should now reboot itself and the sim will be recognized and will work.BE PATIENT AND DO NOT TOUCH ANY BUTTONS WHILE IT'S REBOOTING ITSELF! 7. at your welcome screen type in *0141# and hit your call button. you should get a message that says "Personalized" 8. turn phone off and put in original sim 9. turn phone back on 10. will now ask for a sim code password, type in 00000000, (8 zeros) and hit ok, phone should power up If you have any questions about this or other phones email me.

The unlock code fore the x426 and x427 is *#9998*3323# you have to put another carriers sim in it and enter it when they state wrong sim. a white screen will appear hit the exit (right upper key). Then in the menu select the Malloc Fall optionthis will reboot the phone and the normal service screen will appear at this time type *0141# and then press the green call key. "Personialization" or "Personalized" will appear Turn off the phone put the original sim back in then turn off your phone You will be prompted to enter a password type in 8 zeros (if you changed your password you need to change it back to 8 zeros before do the whole process). Once you enter the password your done your completed your phone is unlocked
