Speaking of free Sun software, I tried downloading Solaris 8 for Intel at work today and it crapped out multiple times. 3 downloads totalling 800+ MB. I left another download running at work, hopefully it'll come through. Anybody else got it yet? Their StarOffice is pretty cool, got it running on a linux box at work. |

i think microsoft does take a lot of undue hits because of it's size. it also has plenty of power and is in no way oppressed. the VM that's in IE is outdated because of Sun's suit. microsoft can't bundle the latest VM. |
