Back in the early 80's I used to call the payphones at a local Farrels (it was a chain of ice cream parlors). Quite often It was a good way of meeting young women! whoever answers just let them know who you want to talk to (in a crowd there is usualy a cute brunette girl, etc.) Then tell her that this was the only way you could think of to meet her. Make plans to meet her in a public place, you can disavow any knowledge of the phone conversation if you dont like what you see. Just walk away or chalk it up to a coincidence that you happen to be holding that white carnation. Believe me she will do the same if she dosnt like what she sees!
I would usualy go meet them at the Farrels that I had called, that way they didn't have time to think about it or change their mind. Plus they are already there so there is little chance that they will not show up!
