(you almost had me convinced, too...but...you can do that kinda thing too with a good recording device...just keep on dropping on quarteres and recording the tone the phone makes, then take all the quarters back...and play the recording into the phone and it ought to work, no? (prolly best with a digital recorder, but a tape works too)
